2020 Honda Jazz teased ahead of its official debut at Tokyo Auto Show
KUALA LUMPUR: 2020 Honda Jazz has been teased recently with a dark image ahead of its official debut at the Tokyo Motor show staring from October 24th. From the teaser image, only the side profile of the Jazz can be seen perfectly and it looks like the popular hatch continues to have the edgy and sporty design.
In April 2019, some spy shots of 2020 Honda Jazz were leaked, which hinted towards a more rounded and softer disposition. The front face is curvy and there are edgy lines on the sides.
The light bar or a piece of trim connects the horizontal lights at the back end. The silhouette is not revamped completely that means it remains spacious and practical. The front doors are bigger than before. However, as speculated earlier, the car’s measurements have not changed much. Apart from these, the 2020 Jazz will get fold-up ultra seats and centre-mounted fuel tank.
Honda has not spoken much about the mechanical details, except that a smaller version of the brand’s own dual-motor i-MMD powertrain will be provided to the hybrid variant. According to Honda, the new system will be more compact due to the absence of seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
2020 Jazz is expected to hit the markets worldwide in 2020 in both petrol and hybrid variants.
