2020 Subaru Liberty Final Edition introduced
KUALA LUMPUR: Subaru Australia introduced the Liberty sedan in its lineup 31 years ago, in 1989. But now, the automaker is all ready to bid farewell to the sedan that is more commonly known as the Legacy.
Why? Well, because of the sedan's low demand and depleting sales figure (2,441 units sold in the past two years). Overall, the Subaru Liberty spanned over six generations and the company sold a total of 153,700 units.
To commemorate the occasion, the automaker is rolling down the Liberty Final Edition which as per CarAdvice is priced at AUD 39,930 (approx. RM 120,039). Thus making the Liberty Final Edition AUD 1,990 (RM 5,982) pricer than the ongoing 2.5i Premium AWD variant on which the special edition is based. As per Subaru Australia, customers will be getting extra equipment worth AUD 6,400 (RM 19,240).
