In the UK, the British Fashion Council has stepped forward to help the designer community in this critical situation. The council has taken £1,000,000 from existing talent support grants to provide monetary support to creative fashion businesses and individuals

Pronovias Group, based in Barcelona, has started a program to donate wedding dresses to medical staff working on the frontlines for the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, the program has started in China and now the company is extending the efforts to multiple countries worldwide.
