Ford Ranger and Focus bag People’s Choice Awards 2018

KUALA LUMPUR: Ford Ranger has always been the public favourite. No different has been the Ford Focus. Both the vehicles falling in the pickup truck and hatchback categories, respectively, were up at the competition for the Carlist.my People’s Choice Awards & Editors’ Choice Award 2018.

Thanks to the immense support and voting by the Malaysians, Ford has won an award apiece for the two vehicles. In the “Pickup of the Year” category, the Ford Ranger seized gold whereas, in the “Mid-Range Hatch” segment, the Ford Focus secured silver.

The new Ford Ranger was highly anticipated and awaited in Malaysia before it made its way to the country. The pickup truck from the American automaker is not only a great cargo transporter but also serves equally well in off-road adventures as well as family needs. The Focus, on the other hand, is one of the better hatchbacks available in our market at the moment. The hatch without a doubt leads the way with its impressive looks, great fuel efficiency, and extensive safety features.

It is to be noted that more than 7,000 Malaysians voted for vehicles in 18 different categories during the 4 week polling period. On top of that, all the entries were purely Malaysian which suggests that the winners are truly the choice of our countrymen.
