Mazda to display CX-9 Signature and the MX-5 Club Edition this weekend at the Powerplant Mall
MANILA: Mazda Philippines will be showcasing its premium cars like the CX-9 Signature and the MX-5 Club Edition at the Powerplant Mall located at the posh Rockwell Center in Makati, this weekend. The cars will also be available for test drives to the mall-hoppers. The three days event will start from March 1 and will continue till March 3.
The CX-9 Signature is a luxurious three-row SUV. It sports an LED grille accent lightning at the front producing a splendid illumination. The car runs on 255/50R20 all-season tires finished with satin-chrome trim. The windshield and the front window are made-up of noise-insulating glass adding to the comfort of driver and passengers. The interior of the car also feels luxurious with a leather-wrapped steering wheel with visible stitch linings and matching seat covers. At the engine front, the CX-9 comes with a 2.5-litre engine delivering 250 hp of power output and 420 Nm of torque that needs only 2,000 rpm for a full twist.
On the other hand, the MX-5 Club Edition is a 2-seater car with ceramic metal paint covering the body. The front of the car gets sleek LED lamp units sharing the border with the engine-hood. It carries passenger airbags and powerful 4-wheel disc brakes as safety features, the latter making the core of the braking system. The interior is equipped with adjustable steering and bucket seats at the front. The driving position is decent, but people with good height may suffer from the bold borders of the windshield. The car draws the necessary power from the SkyActiv 2.0-litre engine pumping 181 hp of power and 204 Nm of torque.
