Mercedes-Benz reveals interior images of the EQ concept
KUALA LUMPUR: Like most of the automakers, Mercedes too is carrying on the teaser show before this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. This time around, the German automaker showcased the interior images of the EQ Concept that is all set to make its debut at the event.
As can be expected, the images look all futuristic with a massive and curved central touch display that dominates the dashboard. The package also includes smaller screens on each of the doors. The dash panel is quite large and features a striped design on its surface with integrated rectangular air vents along with other displays dedicated to the driver.
The EQ Concept is likely to be an autonomous vehicle; however, the images show it with an unconventional steering wheel. The car offers a seating capacity of four, and it comes with a floating centre console. The roomy interior and flat floor likely attribute to the vehicle's battery pack under the floor.
Mercedes-Benz is yet to reveal if the EQ Concept will serve as a preview for an upcoming model. Although it could be our first look at the fully-electric limousine car built on an MEA (Modular Electric Architecture) platform.
We’ll be only able to know more about the unnamed EQ Concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
