Mercedes-Benz to open mobile showrooms

KUALA LUMPUR: On its 120th anniversary, Carriage & Cycle, one of the official distributors of Mercedes-Benz in the country has come up with a unique concept. The new concept, which has been given the title of Star Galleria, comprise mobile showrooms which aim towards making the brand accessible to people in remote and extended areas. Cycle & Carriage is looking forward to expanding the concept and set up these mobile showrooms at numerous locations in the country.

Mercedes-Benz’ black corporate image is displayed in the 20x8 ft showrooms called “mobile Autohaus”. The unique showroom also showcases the history of Cycle & Carriage. There will be sales executives interacting with the customers and helping them with the required information. A refreshment counter and Mercedes merchandise have also been made available within the showroom.

There will also be a few Mercedes-Benz vehicles on display and available for test-rides along with the Star Galleria showrooms. Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah will be the first location in Malaysia to have a Star Galleria. Wilfrid Foo, the CEO of Cycle & Carriage Bintang said on the occasion, “We are proud to represent Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and elevate our fans’ engagement with the brand through the Mercedes-Benz mobile showroom in Malaysia. This is our effort to enhance the retailing experience, blending a mobile approach that gives customers a taste of Mercedes-Benz luxury with Cycle & Carriage’s hospitality, in places that are unexpected”.
