TC Subaru revealed the Forester 2.0 STI Performance, price starts from RM 135k

KUALA LUMPUR: TC Subaru has launched the Forester 2.0 STI Performance, a new addition of the Subaru Forester lineup. The new addition comes with the new STI badge and a bit more sporty look than the ongoing variants. It also brings some additional features to the interior.

The Forester 2.0 STI Performance is equipped with a naturally aspirated, 2.0-litre boxer engine which can make up to 150 PS of power along with a 198 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. The vehicle gets the same AWD drive along with hill descent control and X-Mode. The power is sent down to the wheels by a Lineartronic CVT automatic gearbox. The vehicle comes with seven airbags for the safety of its occupants.

Inside the cabin, the Subaru Forester 2.0 STI Performance features leather seats and good quality carpet mats. The vehicle comes with side sill plates along with leather shift knob. Much has not been spoken about its interior, but looking at the images, it is easy to spot the red stitching and sides of the seats. On the side sill plates “Subaru” is written and the floor mats have red lines along with the logo of Forester. The name of the variant (STI) is printed on the leather gear knob.

Coming to the front fascia, the fog lamps are placed perfectly on the bumper. It gets a honeycomb mesh grille and the headlights along with turn indicators are seated on both the sides. On the bumper, an “STI Performance” is also featured. At the rear, another “STI Performance” badge is placed just under the rear Forester 2.0i-P emblem.

The Subaru Forester 2.0 STI Performance will be assembled locally and the starting price tag of the vehicle is RM135,288 without insurance. The brand new variant will hit at the showrooms this weekend.
