The latest Bentley Flying Spur to feature a new design
KUALA LUMPUR: The British car manufacturing giant is releasing the Flying Spur in 2019 and it will feature a design that is totally contrasting from the Continental GT. This will be the last car from Bentley before moving ahead to the trend of electrification.
The Flying Spur is expected to show some serious rivalry to premium luxury cars like the Rolls Royce Ghost and Mercedes Maybach S600.
With this model, Bentley is planning to introduce a whole new design which is totally different from the Continental GT and we can expect it to continue with similar designs in the upcoming electric cars.
Bentley has completed the design works for the Flying Spur and the entire Continental series a long time ago. Last year during the Frankfurt motor show, Bentley released the Continental GT Coupe while the Continental GTC Cabriolet was designed apace with it.
We understand that the body styling of the Flying spur chases the themes of the Continental GT but its surfaces are more distinct and has sharper wage lines.
Bentley is expected to come up with huge visual differences between the Flying Spur and the Continental GT to make it a one of its kind. This is evident from the fact that the previous version of the car featured a prefix “Continental” whereas, the current version did not.
On the other hand, the Continental GTC will have similar front end doors as the coupe but the rear end design will be altered to house a retractable fabric roof.
The Flying Spur is also predicted to arrive with the giant Bentley’s V8 and W12 engines, along-side a hybrid version with a V6 petrol engine. Bentley will be targeting the Chinese market by releasing the hybrid version that is expected to boost its sales tremendously.
