Upcoming Nissan Magnite paten images leaked
KUALA LUMPUR: In the first week of July, Nissan first teased its budget SUV concept, the Magnite. A week later, the concept was revealed, giving us a glimpse of what the production model might look like on the outside. Continuing its marketing strategy, the automaker also shared shots of the concept's cabin, telling the world about Magnite's features and comfort qualities. Talking about the present scenario, the first patent images of the production-spec Magnite are out, giving us a fair idea about the Nissan upcoming vehicle.
Before we start to analyse Magnite's patent images, we'll like to warn you not to get your hopes high, as the car is first scheduled to arrive in India in early 2021, followed by other international markets. On its arrival, it will go against Ford EcoSport, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and Kia Sonet.
Nissan Magnite Exterior
The upcoming Magnite SUV will feature a bold design language, especially at the front with the sculpted bonnet, massive single-piece grille, sleek headlamps, and striking L-shaped LED daytime running lights. At the rear, we see concept-like wraparound taillights and a roof spoiler. However, compared to the concept, the production version looks cleaner and features a lower ride height.
Nissan has confirmed that the Magnite will underpin its CME-A+ platform that'll also support its future vehicles.
Nissan Magnite Interior
Though Nissan has not revealed the car's interior images but seeing the concept cabin, we expect a rather funky layout. Being a modern-day cruiser, we are hoping to see features like climate control, cruise control, sunroof, USB charging ports, and connected car techs like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth.
Nissan Magnite Engine
Nissan is expected to offer the car with two petrol engine choices - a 100 PS 1.0-litre turbo and 72 PS 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated unit. Gearbox options could include a standard manual and a CVT mill.
Nissan Magnite Safety
Like most Nissan cars, the Magnite is expected to feature a strong safety kit with around four airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, and ABS with EBD and BA.
The Nissan Magnite launch will take place in the first quarter of 2021, and its price range will start from around INR 5.5 lakh that's roughly around RM 30,843.
