Warranties expiring during MOC period to be extended says ETCM
KUALA LUMPUR: If your Nissan car warranty will expire during the movement control period, there's no need to worry. ETCM has announced an additional 30-day warranty for such cars, starting from the last day of MCO.
Nissan temporarily suspended its business operations starting March 18 in line with the MCO. The automaker now says that the existing warranties won't be affected even if the scheduled maintenance service gets skipped during the MCO period. The automaker encourages all its customers to reschedule their service appointments within 30-days after MCO is lifted, as this will keep the car's service warranty active.
To reschedule the appointment, the customers can visit the TCEAS website, DriveOn mobile app, contact the company's call centre, or book directly with TCEAS service centres once MOC is over.
Nissan Malaysia also announced that to cater to the surge of service appointments after MCO Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Service would extend its operational hours from 8.30 am to 8.00 pm, Monday to Friday, in Kelantan and Terengganu from Sunday to Thursday.
