How does Mercedes Benz ensure your safety?

1.Head-up Display: This feature lets you keep an overview of crucial driver related information without taking your eyes off the road. It produces a virtual image within the driver's field of vision. This image appears to float over the bonnet around 2 metres ahead of the driver. The high-resolution display is in colour. Depending on the equipment present, the system displays navigation instructions, speed, speed limits or cruise control settings. A special sensor adapts the brightness of the display to ambient light conditions.

2.  Pre-Safe Impulse: It can reduce the force and acceleration loads on occupants and improve protection in the event of a head-on collision. In the early phase of a frontal collision the safety belts pull the front seat occupants deeper into the seat. At the moment of peak loads, the retracted distance is released again in a controlled manner. Thus the Pre-Safe Impulse reduces the risk of injury. The protective mechanism works on the front seats through the three-point safety belt system.

3. Communicative Headlights: The most exciting characteristic is the Maybach S-Class talking through its headlights. The German car manufacturer has devised a set of multi-beam LED lights through which the S-Class can communicate. Mercedes-Benz establishes new benchmarks in design, technology, and driving safety with its ground-breaking headlamp technology. The multi-beam LED headlamps respond quickly to the current road and traffic conditions with individually controllable LEDs. This high-definition lamp has a chip with over a million micro-reflectors that projects light in patterns, forming letters or even illustrations. In addition, the innovative feature also serves as a navigation guide to the driver. A powerful computer can project lanes, arrows, and symbols to alert the driver, given different road conditions that are processed by cameras and sensors. Symbols include low-grip surface sign, construction site warning, rear-end collision, lane-keeping alert, blind-spot sign, and speed reminder.

When a pedestrian is detected in the danger zone of the road, they will be alerted by an arrow illustration. So, this sounds exhilarating, right?
