International Motomania rocks Kuala Lumpur over the weekend, welcomes biker and tourists

KUALA LUMPUR: The annual International Motomania, which was celebrated in Kuala Lumpur last weekend has shaken the whole city by uniting bikers from different regions. The riders, regardless of their creed, type and capacity of the bike, gathered together to rock the event and apart from them, it also attracted a good population of tourists and fans.

The IMKL was held from 22nd February to 24th February at the Malaysian Tourism Centre (MaTiC). It included entertaining pastimes and programmes, which was arranged by the organisers, and the addition of the miscellaneous activities in the event did not let the visitors feel bored throughout day or night.

Coming to the core of the event, the fun activities include Retro motorcycle competition, Battle of the Bands, Custom motorcycle competition, Fun games for bikers, Visit by lady bikers, concerts by Datuk Awie, Mus May, Asheed Def Gab C, Bandi Amuk, Nik Putra, Blank Gamma, Ali Lela, Hatta Junction, Dwan Olan.

It featured premium motorcycles and relevant products by vendors including Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya, Moto Guzzi Malaysia, Aprilia Malaysia, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor, Ducati Malaysia, Indian Motorcycles and Shell Advance Malaysia.

The booth of Shell Advance Malaysia, due to a special promotion remained busy throughout the day. Those who purchased Shell Advance AX7 and Shell Advance Ultra with PurePlus Technology got an exclusive goodie bag, towel and bike cover. They were also qualified for the lucky draw on the last day.

Besides the Shell Advance Malaysia, the visitors had also get a chance to see luxury cars like Ford Mustang, retro bikes such as Suzuki Katana, Suzuki RG500 Walter Wolf and riding gear and merchandise.

Apart from the bikes and the entertainment, the festival also provided opportunities to taste the local delights of Malaysia. International cuisines were also arranged along with this, and the food responsibility was taken by some of the food trucks of the country.
