Modenas organised second ‘Explore the Unexplored’ ride for Dominar D400 owners

KUALA LUMPUR: On the 17th of September 2018, the second Modenas Dominar D400 ‘Explore the Unexplored’ was held. The route of the ride started from Juru Autocity to the Belum Rainforest Resort in Perak, covering Penang.

The first ride became pretty successful for the organization. It had started from the Modenas’ HQ at Glenmarie and cover Shah Alam and Selangor and continued up to Ipoh, Perak.

The ‘Explore the Unexplored’ is especially organised for the existing owners of Modenas D400. The sport-tourer is equipped with a big 373 cc liquid-cooled engine which can churn out a good combination of power and torque to allow going for a long ride.

Before starting the ride, the riders had to make their registration at 6.30 am. Moreover, at the same time, they had their breakfast in Restoran Nasi Kandar Pelita, which is situated at the starting point. The group was bigger than the previous ride, with a total of 25 participants. They were mostly from the northern states of Peninsular Malaysia and were very much excited to be a part of it.

A technical personnel, along with a pair of four-wheelers were provided by the Modenas for support. The ride started at 7.30 am early morning and the formation of the group was perfect for the highway. The authority made sure that the ride was conducted without hampering the traffic.

The riders took the first stop at the Taiping Lake Gardens. Here the participants were allowed to capture images of their Dominar D400s. Thereafter, they crossed Grik and headed towards their final destination.

However, they had another stop at Belum Rainforest Resort for their lunch. But apart from just the lunch, they had some fun and gaming sessions too. The activities included slow riding of their Dominar and a game with water balloons.
