About Chevrolet Malaysia

In our country, Chevrolet operated through a secure chain of dealerships that took care of sales, service, and maintenance. Naza Quest Sdn Bhd handles aftersale service and provides warranty support to Chevy customers.
Hicomobil, a joint venture between GM and DRB-HICOM from 2003 to 2009, marketed Chevy cars like the Aveo, Nabira, Optra, and Lumina. In 2010, this partnership came to an end, and Naza took over Chevrolet’s operations in Malaysia. Naza Quest Sdn Bhd managed all Chevy’s dealerships. The band lineup included many cars like the Captiva, Colorado, Sonic, Malibu, Cruz, and Orlando.
On 14th November 2018, Naza Quest Sdn Bhd ceased the distribution of new Chevy vehicles due to a brand rationalisation plan under the group’s overall corporate strategy for long-term sustainability and profitability. The Naza Group assured the continuity of vehicle service, parts, warranty, and aftersales for existing customers until the appointment of a new distributor under the agreement between General Motors and Naza Quest.
A new distributor partner for Chevrolet in Malaysia will soon be announced as per GM’s officials. Until then, existing Chevy owners can get in touch with the company’s customer service team via email (info_chevrolet@naza.com.my) or dial 1-800-2-CHEVY (24389).
The American brand is evolving itself with the changing times. Recently official pictures of the facelifted Colorado were released, and the pickup never looked better. At the 2020 North American Car, Utility, and Truck of the Year (NACOTY) the automaker grabbed many awards. The C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray took home the ‘NA Car of the Year’ title. In May 2019, Chevrolet unveiled the all-new Trailblazer SUV.
Though Chevrolet has pulled the plug on our market, we are optimistic to see this American brand again in Malaysia.
