the most compact yet that typically thrilling Kawasaki
With the Z250, Kawasaki has given all the tamed madness on two wheels usually associated with its big and bulky motorcycles in such a small package. For a beginner like me, jumping straight to a middleweight motorcycle was an intimidating thought, and the Kawasaki Z250 tried to be perfect on that emotion. The bike feels big despite its compact dimensions, which gives it the necessary big bike appeal a quarter litre motorcycle should possess. The Z800 inspired front face and rear tail piece make it look even more tempting. However, in my opinion, the thing which makes the Z50 a typical Kawasaki product is its engine – despite the thrilling performance on tap, it is so easy to control and play with. The power-packed performance and amazing handling make it such a sweet deal, thus making it a perfect amalgamation of desirability and practicality in one package.
