2025 UD Kuzer SKE 155 light duty truck revealed in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: UD Trucks and its sole distributor partner in Malaysia, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE), has introduced the all-new Kuzer SKE 155. The upgraded version of the light-duty truck hosts a range of new and improved features, enhancing all-round efficiency and maximum productivity.

Specifically developed for businesses, the 2025 Kuzer SKE 155 sets new standards in six key areas - payload, performance, chassis, emission, durability and safety.

Enhanced performance & fuel efficiency

The latest Kuzer SKE 155 is powered by a fuel-efficient 5.2-litre Euro IV engine featuring the world class engine management system with advanced fuel injection system. Mated to a six-speed overdrive gearbox, it uses the latest Japanese technology and delivers high torque with increased fuel efficiency and lower emissions.

Increased payload & versatility

The upgraded truck has a reduced curb weight and increased payload capacity for improved productivity. It is available in 7.5-ton and 8.5-ton Gross Vehicle Weight variants; the former offers a payload of 4,880 kg, which is 600 kg more than the predecessor. 

The latest model also has improved rear axle capacity making it more robust for tougher applications and heavier loads.

Improved safety features

With safety as a top priority, the automaker has packed the vehicle with a range of improved safety features which include -

• Anti-Lock Brake System
• Electronic Brakeforce Distribution 

The ECE R29 certified cabin meets United Nations regulations concerning the safety of commercial vehicle cabins for occupant protection.

The aerodynamically-designed Kuzer SKE 155 offers greater drivability with reduced drag and smooth maneuvering in urban areas. Among the driver-focused features are -
