KUALA LUMPUR: UD Trucks and its local partner, Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd, launched the Euro 5 range for their well-established medium-duty Croner and heavy-duty Quester trucks. This upgraded line-up focuses on improving uptime, reducing fuel consumption, and offering reliable workhorses. These enhancements have also been made to optimize the Total Cost of Ownership, helping truck owners reduce their transportation expenses. These upgrades have a dual benefit: minimizing the vehicle's environmental impact and enhancing the truck ownership's economic viability.

UD Trucks has come up with their new Euro 5 Croner and Quester models, targeting international markets. These models will be introduced in regions that are embracing stringent global emission standards for environmental preservation and experiencing rapid growth. This initiative aligns with the mission of UD Trucks' "Better Life," focusing on reducing environmental impact, increasing profitability, elevating customer satisfaction, and enhancing overall well-being.

UD Trucks has also come up with a Euro 5 range that features Selective Catalytic Reduction technology to reduce particulate matter and nitrogen oxide emissions compared to Euro 4 and Euro 4 levels. SCR technology is very helpful in emission control. It also lowers maintenance requirements and improves fuel efficiency. This is further supported by AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid that is used with SCR technology in vehicles to reduce emissions. AdBlue will be available at all of TCIE's 26 dealers and branches throughout Malaysia.
