Hybrid calm for Malaysian traffic jams
The Innova Zenix left me speechless in sheer awe during a day drive through KL’s frustrating traffic and Putrajaya’s open stretches. Its 2.0L hybrid powertrain delivers a smooth, frictionless transition between EV and petrol, making stop-and-go traffic less draining and more manageable. On Putrajaya’s long roads, the combined output felt immensely strong for confident merges. Inside, the cabin seats stand as a testament to Toyota’s luxury, thanks to excellent thigh support and practical USB-C ports. The suspension, too, absorbs bumps and jolts surprisingly well, ensuring the rougher Shah Alam roads would feel less harsh. My only gripe is that the boot space feels limited with all three rows up.
