So far the Yamaha MT-15 has been smooth sailing. On the first attempt it always manages to start, and in stop-go traffic, its lightweight clutch, linear nature, and smooth shifting gearbox have turned out to be useful. The 5th gear has proven to be the sweet spot on smooth highways. The suspension though seems to be a bit stiff and on patchy roads makes you slow down. Other than the usual maintenance the MT-15 has not required much upkeep. Under mixed riding - bumper-to-bumper traffic and highway riding it still manages to offer a mileage of around 60kmpl.
