The cabin feels upscale yet noisy

It has been eight months with the Toyota Corolla, and my experience has been mixed. The cabin feels upscale, but I can hear a significant amount of cabin noise that at times interferes with the luxurious feeling. The wind and road noise at high speed make the interior louder than expected. Although the Corolla is a great choice for commuters, it is not able to come anywhere close to being a performance-oriented car. I do not like the fact that when I’m flooring it, the base model is only able to hit 117 miles per hour. Despite these loopholes, I don’t regret buying the Corolla.
