I never bought the hype until I drove the Toyota GR-Yaris by myself. The GR-FOUR all-wheel drive system, with the selectable torque split modes, makes the car feel alive under changing grip conditions. every time I drove on the damp roads, the difference was crystal clear to me. Thanks to the carbon-fiber roof, the CG has been lowered significantly, giving me another level of stability and helping me commit to cutting corners. Everything inside feels compact, focused, and slightly intense, even at modest speeds. For me, it’s a car that demands attention and rewards confidence. The stiff ride, however, becomes tiring on uneven urban roads.
