Aveta Malaysia launches ‘Care on Wheel' for after-sales service

KUALA LUMPUR: Great news for Aveta motorcycle owners! Aveta has rolled out the 'Aveta Care on Wheel' programme in Malaysia. It is a mobile service ready to help customers with any technical issues across Peninsular Malaysia.

The Aveta Care on Wheel (ACW) team consists of a pick-up truck and three motorcycles. It is operated by skilled service experts from Aveta Malaysia who have undergone specialised training to identify and solve any problems that might occur. The team has been equipped with all the necessary tools and gear, ensuring prompt assistance.

A brand can only succeed when it has a comprehensive customer care program that wins the hearts and confidence of its customers,” said Steven Lim, group managing director.

The Aveta Care on Wheel initiative followed the Aveta Service Corner (ASC) programme introduced in early December. Located in Klang, Selangor, the ASC not only offers spare parts and service to Aveta motorcycle owners but is also equipped with special tools and fully trained mechanics. The automaker has plans to open 30 Aveta Service Corners across Malaysia, beginning in 2024.

The Malaysian-born bike maker offers a diverse lineup of mopeds and super mopeds, meeting the growing demand for motorcycles in the country. It Introduced Malaysia's first-ever Smart Hybrid Scooter, the Aveta VADV150, last year. Priced at RM 13,980, it is an innovative and advanced scooter that features advanced technology and a sleek style to woo urban commuters. 

The hybrid setup comprises a 149-cc single, 4-valve, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine that kicks out a maximum power of 16.22 hp at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. It is paired with a “Hybrid Assist” system, which offers acceleration assistance up to 50 kmph.
