A Moto2 engine bike that suited for daily use

5/5 Excellent 59 views

I have just hit 4000km on my Triumph Street Triple R 2022 when wrote this review. Needless to say, I love it very much. For someone that just graduated from a 150cc bike with about 5 years of experience, jumping onto a street triple R is not as intimidating as it seems. It is a fast bike if you want it to be, but it is also more than happy to do some slow cruising speed. I have been using it for commuting and occasion trill riding, it never once disappoints me. Its triple cylinders engine is a trill to ride. The bike screams when you rev above 6000rpm. For road use, I see no point to let the engine scream and terrorizing other road users. However, it will do great in track which i plans to do sometime down the road. Design and look are a very subjective topic. Odd, bug eyes, praying mantis, or kamen rider are some of the terms that I often hear from my riding buddies when they first saw my bike. Most of them find it ugly I assume but I personally adore the unique look. Despite the polarizing look, I still get drivers and riders saying how pretty is my bike while stopping at a traffic light. Triumph bike are very well built. Before I made my mine, I went to a few Japanese brand showrooms. It is safe to say, Triumph has way better built quality compare to most of the Japanese bikes that I have seen. Big gaps, plasticky built, just to name a few. Those mentioned are hardly seen in my bike. That also explain why it is slightly costlier than the competitors. If you are in a market for a middleweight naked bike, triumph should be on your radar even if you do not like the design. Visit the showroom, talk to their staffs, and take bike for a spin (yes! triumph offer test ride as long you have the proper license). You might have a different thought. That was precisely what happened to me~

  • Extra powerful bike that sports an exotic looks

There are plenty of reasons to get hooked to this Triumph bike. Being a daily rider I got smitten at this model for so many reasons. This has several reasons to enthrall its buyers. Say this is rewarding one with extra power and a dashing looks to die for. The electronics are... Read More

  • Talk about bold styling

This motorcycle has been a dream of mine for some time now. I have always wanted to get a two wheeler that’s intimidating and scarily fast. Even though there are a lot of other more affordable options compared to Triumph, I just knew I had to get this one because of how... Read More

  • Good bike but poor customer service with no spare part availability locally. Pray to god it doesn't break down

Bike broke down with a faulty starter. No spare part availability, and need to wait 1-2months. It is bit ridiculous having the need to start the bike by pushing down a slope or asking random strangers to help to push start the bike. I felt like owning a Motogp bike though . Read More

  • The street performer

The Triumph Street Triple looks sporty but is not a sports bike. It's in the daily commuting class and can be used for some casual racing. The design of this bike has become iconic over the years. The riding style is sporty but you can sit fairly straight on seat. The pillion... Read More

  • Performance-packed naked bike

This middleweight naked bike from Triumph delivers a high-end performance that you can experience the moment you open the throttle. The bike is very quick, however, you might feel a slight need of low-end torque below the 6000 rpm mark. The engine has a very interesting sound... Read More
