CFMoto Malaysia updates yet another model; meet 2022 650 MT

KUALA LUMPUR: CFMOTO Malaysia has announced the availability of a new, revised model, the 2022 CFMOTO 650 MT sport-tourer.

The brand is on a spree to update its Malaysian lineup in the wake of rising competition from competitors. As only a few days ago, the brand introduced a new hue (Lava Orange) for the up and running 250SR. It is essential to attract new buyers, don’t you agree?

Engine

Powering the 2022 650 MT is the tried and tested 649.3 cc two-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, making a maximum power of 60hp at 870 rpm along with a peak torque of 56 Nm at 7000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox. Further, the sport tourer gets Bosch EFI and two selectable ride modes.

Suspension & Braking

The motorcycle’s long-travel suspension setup includes USD front forks, and the preload-adjustable rear shock assures smooth ride quality. On the other hand, braking is taken care of by J.Juan - sourced 300mm twin front disc and a 240 mm single rear disc braking hardware. A Continental dual-channel ABS suite is part of the layout.

Features

In its revised version, the 2022 650 MT indeed looks different from the previous model, thanks to the large windscreen and side wind deflectors. They not only to the motorcycle’s aesthetics but also makes it more functional. Not to forget the front/sides and engine crash bar set and an internal tooth key for added security.

Furthermore, making the journey more convenient for the rider, the CFMoto’s new sports tourer gets a new 5-inch TFT colour display and a USB charger port for GPS or smartphone.

Price & Colour

The 2022 CFMoto 650 MT is priced at RM 31,500, including a 2-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. Interested buyers can choose the new 650 MT in two colour options - Athens Blue and Nebula White.
