Check out the all-new 2021 Aprilia Tuareg 660 adventure tourer

KUALA LUMPUR: Aprilia has unveiled a new adventure tourer in its lineup, the new Tuareg 660. It surely feels like a fresh breeze of air after its recent sports bike launches - the naked sports bike Tuono 660 and the sports bike RS660.

Like the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660, this one too is powered by a 660 cc parallel-twin engine. In the RS660, this mill puts out a maximum power of 100 hp, while in the Tuono 660 the horsepower drops by 5 hp, i.e.95 hp. As for the all-new Tuareg 660 model, the engine here churns out 80 hp of power and 70 Nm of torque.

It is to be noted that Tuareg 660’s wide seat is designed to cater to a wider range of riders. The bike also comes fitted with a full suite of standard riding aids. What else? Adding to the driver’s convenience is a 5-inch TFT-LCD screen that displays all the information clearly, four ride modes, cruise control, engine mapping, traction control, and selectable engine braking.

Braking and suspension duties

The braking part is taken care of by twin Brembo hydraulic callipers with ABS fully selectable on the front wheel. Suspension, on the other hand, is handled by 43 mm diameter upside-down front forks and monoshock at the rear end.
