basic is not boring always
For a commuter meant and designed for simple daily urban commutes, the Honda Wave Alpha suits the purpose with its compact feel and agility. This cub class bike doesn’t feel basic at all, much opposite to my low initial expectations from it. The sharp looking body panels, black theme for cycle parts and bold graphics make the Honda Wave Alpha look very refreshing and up to date, which is a good thing for a basic cub class bike. The Honda Wave Alpha misses out on a number of feel good features, which explain its cost cutting measures. But I am thankful to Honda for not executing any kind of compromises when it comes to mechanicals under the skin. The compact size, light weighted chassis and long and wide seat make it such a breeze to ride. The performance feels adequate for its price too, thus making it a decent commuter for today’s world.
