Ducati introduces 2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro

KUALA LUMPUR: After teasing the images of the 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro, the Italian manufacturer has unveiled the two-wheeler. The launch of the motorcycle followed the footsteps of Multistrada 1260 S road models and also the Maultistrada 1260.

The main highlighting fact about the 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is its V-Twin, 1,262 cc DVT-equipped Testastretta engine. This means, now the two-wheeler comes with the extra 64 cc power which pumps out a maximum of 158 hp along with a peak torque of 127 Nm of torque.

As the 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro’s engine offers 85% of its torque below the 3,500 rpm mark, it has to be beneficial. Moreover, the DVT-equipped engine provides smooth power so that the motorcycle gives a good performance in off-road conditions.

If we imagine the 2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro without the extensive use of electronics suit of the manufacturer, the vehicle is similar to a two-wheeled supercomputer

The motorcycle comes with a massive 30-litre fuel tank capacity so that one can go for a long ride after refilling it. The 2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The manufacturer also tweaked the ergonomics of the bike a bit. Despite this modification, the look of the two-wheeler has not changed much. The brand new model comes with lower seat height and centre of gravity, as a result, more riders will be friendly with the two-wheeler.

Coming to the additional features, the 2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro comes with some standard features like cornering lights, cornering ABS and IMU-based traction control, hill-start assist, wheelie control, up and down quick-shifter and semi-active Sachs suspension.

The 2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro comes with a TFT display and its layout has been modified. It supports Ducati Link App which can be used by riders besides recording routes and various riding modes.
