All-new Ducati Panigale V2, Multistrada V2 launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Ducati has rolled out the latest versions of its V-twin models in Malaysia - the Panigale V2 and Multistrada V2, showcasing the brand’s latest innovations in performance engineering, design, and rider-assist technology. 

Both of these high-performance Ducati bikes are powered by a new 890-cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that features Variable Intake Valve Timing (IVT) and Spring valve actuation technologies, derived from the brand’s flagship V4 Granturismo engine. The IVT ensures smooth torque delivery at low revs, sharper throttle response and a strong pull at high revs, offering a sportier riding experience.

The new mill delivers 70% of maximum torque from 3,000 rpm, with more than 80% available across the 3,500 and 11,000 rpm range.

2025 Ducati Panigale V2: Key highlights 

• Touted as the lightest twin-cylinder supersport in Ducati’s lineup, the new Panigale V2 features an all-new aluminium monocoque and dual-sided swingarm.
• The new 890-cc V-twin engine delivers a maximum power of 120 hp and a peak torque of 93.3 Nm and comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
• With a design inspired by Panigale V4, the bike features an elegant yet aggressive appearance with sharp LED lighting, sculpted aerodynamics and a MotoGP-inspired tail.
• It comes equipped with a six-axis IMU that enables advanced controls like Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0.

• Four available riding modes are - Race, Sport, Road, Wet.
• Providing riders all essential driving-related information is a 5-inch TFT display that has 3 different schemes - Road, Road Pro, and Track.
• The suspension duties are managed by Ohlins NIX-30 USD front forks and Ohlins rear monoshock. The braking setup comprises Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers with 320 mm discs
• Priced at RM 125,000, the all-new 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 is available in a single red colour option.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V2: Key highlights 

• The new Multistrada V2 adventure tourer is lighter and sharper than the outgoing model and combines twin-cylinder character with everyday versatility.
• The new V-twin engine is capable of generating a maximum power of 115 hp and a peak torque of 92 Nm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission, offering shorter 1st & 2nd gear for low-speed usability.
• In terms of design, the new Multistrada V2 boasts a new silhouette with shorter “beak” and integrated aerodynamics. It features aggressive Full-LED lighting, slimmer proportions for easier handling and a redesigned seat with adjustable heights for improved riding comfort.

• Just like the Panigale, it also features advanced Ducati electronics and a 5-inch TFT display with multiple screen modes. 
• Five available riding modes are - Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet.
• With a redesigned aluminium monocoque and steel trellis subframe, the bike features semi-active Skyhook suspension with electronic preload adjustment. The Brembo brakes handle braking at both ends.
• The all-new 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 is priced at RM 112,000 (on the road, without insurance).
