Currently ranking as one of the best supersport motorcycles on sale on this planet, the Ducati Panigale V4 is the best ever flagship superbike ever made by the Italian bike maker. With the promise of the best possible sport biking experience, the Ducati Panigale V4 marks Ducati’s presence in the four-cylinder supersport motorcycle category, thus taking on the fight of a well-heeled competition from almost all the prominent bike makers. The Ducati Panigale V4 is brought to the Malaysian bike market through the CBU route and is available in a single paint option of Ducati Red.
Ducati knows the perfect expertise of how to make drool-worthy motorcycles, which are not only smashing but also timeless to look at when kept for many years down the lane. The Ducati Panigale V4 falls in the same philosophy by Ducati and has been blessed with an extremely aerodynamic and sporty design, which makes us believe why Italians are the best in business when it comes to pure design.
The front profile of the Ducati Panigale V4 looks simple but very attractive, with two diamond-shaped housings for the headlamps, each one of which has been integrated with hidden LED projectors and sleek daytime running LEDs on their upper edges. A well-sculpted front fairing and a curved and compact transparent windscreen round up the look of the motorcycle from the front.
The side profile of the Ducati Panigale V4 possesses a lot of visual drama when compared to the front, with the side fairing panels having winglets inspired by their MotoGP spec motorcycle. There are further twin recessed air vents integrated behind the winglets to facilitate heat dissipation from the high revving engine. This side fairing does a perfect job in partially masking the beautiful V4 engine (more on that later) and the underbelly twin exhaust (one on either side), the latter of which gets silver-finished end tips.
Major of the visual mass of the Ducati Panigale V4 has been concentrated towards the front, and that means, as compared to the bulky looking fairing and well-contoured fuel tank, the tail section looks slim and minimalist. The motorcycle gets a single seat for the rider, with the tail cowl having a compact design – the Ducati Panigale V4 doesn’t get a pillion seat. The nicely curved tail cowl ends up in a nicely crafted LED tail lamp integrated within its rear portion and has mounted for the compact rear fender as well. The single-sided swingarm shows up the nicely designed multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in black.
As expected from a present generation flagship supersport, the Ducati Panigale V4 gets lower set clip-on handlebars and a full-colored TFT instrument console, which has all the possible information which one can expect from the motorcycle while on the go.
The Ducati Panigale V4 packs in one of the best mechanical hardware one can find in a premium motorcycle. Sitting over an aluminium alloy frame, the Ducati Panigale V4 gets fully adjustable 43mm Showa front forks and a fully adjustable Sachs mono-shock with a single-sided swingarm at the rear. The whole suspension is on a stiffer side, which harshens up the ride quality for an urban setup, but makes the handling capabilities of the motorcycle very sharp and precise. The dual 330mm disc brakes at the front and a single 245mm disc brake at the rear are sharp enough to match the charisma of the motorcycle.
This is surely the star highlight of the Ducati Panigale V4, as it is the very first four-cylinder engine to fit with the Panigale brand. The four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 90-degree V4, 1103cc engine of the Ducati Panigale V4 breathes out mind-boggling performance numbers – 214 PS of maximum power and 124 Nm of maximum torque, thus making it one of the most powerful motorcycles currently on sale in the world.
The Ducati Panigale V4 gets a whole suite of modern electronic riding aids which one expects from a liter-class supersport, and that includes cornering ABS, 6-axis inertial IMU, traction control, wheelie control, Ducati Power Launch, up and down quick shifter, slide control, and engine brake control.
With a dreamy design and equally captivating performance and handling characteristics, the Ducati Panigale V4 is one wet dream of every supersport motorcycle enthusiast. This quintessentially Italian motorcycle has a spell-bounding charm which one can’t avoid, and while it might not be too practical for a daily usage cycle, it surely has the capability to charge up your motorcycling abilities and dreams when you ought to be on its saddle.
My view about this bike is pretty impressive. This is one of the most comfortable bikes that I have encountered in recent days. No matter whether you are riding this in traffic zones or open roads you will always get the most comfort filled rides out of this. Though one issue I often face. The seats get somewhat warm after
This Italian sports gear has been pretty popular since it has been launched in the market of Malaysia. I have been a sports bike enthusiast from my early childhood days. So, my friends were insisting me to test drive this aggressive motorcycle in the showroom. My spirit got uplifted when I tried my hands to this performer. Equipped with a
It’s the stuff you see on motorsports shows. It’s a rather exclusive motorcycle and my friend bought one recently. After much prodding he allowed me to ride it once. The feeling of sitting on a Ducati was quite overwhelming. It has a 4-cylinder, 1,100cc engine! Well that’s the sort of engine that many entry-level hatchbacks have. It’s a true sports
My friend recently bought the Ducati Panigale V4 and I managed to ride it. The Panigale V4 is a pure racing bike and riding on city roads won’t do justice to it. The bike has a wider stance. A taller windscreen complements the stretched body panel. Taller riders like me won’t face any problem with this bike. It’s a pretty
The Ducati Panigale V4 is one of the most stylish performance motorcycles in the Malaysian market according to me. The 90-degree 1103cc V-four Stradale engine churns out over 200hp of power and around 120Nm of torque which allows you to let loose on open roads. Besides this, the lightweight chassis, Ohlins electronic suspension and a superb riding stance allow you
There are no words to describe the performance provided by the Ducati Panigale V4. I’ve been the proud owner of many such machines in the past. However, the Ducati Panigale V4 is something different. This bike’s style looks like a spaceship and makes sure everybody notices this superbike once it hits the street. Further, the seating position and the handling
Ducati’s entry into the supersport bike segment is marked with the incredible Ducati Panigale V4. Being a superbike lover, this motorcycle is one of my favourites in the super sports segment. The bike is a track genius as well as a great motorcycle for the streets with a specially engineered aerodynamic frame that is extremely lightweight and some other standard
Thanks to the brainy minds at Ducati, we have finally been able to get a full-fledged four cylinder supersport from Ducati in the form of Panigale V4. The Panigale V4, in my opinion, has just commenced from where the previous generation 1299 Panigale had left, by filling in its shoes perfectly by offering even more thrilling performance and precision in
I am highly impressed at the quality of comfort that I get from my new bike, Ducati Panigale V4. This bike has literally win my heart with its easy riding feature as well. In fact, those are the core factors that any biker may look at while purchasing their bike. The twin cylinder engine of the bike implies at its
I love to ride bikes at a fast speed and that is the reason I have chosen Ducati Panigale-V4, which has a powerful engine of 998cc. This is a petrol bike, which has a four-cylinder engine and the bike has been categorized in super sports range. Another thing that I liked is the red color, which looks wonderful. I drove
