Honda RS-X Winner Design

The Honda RS-X Winner boasts of a striking and aggressive design, inspired by Honda’s racing aesthetics. The sharp bodywork, aerodynamic fairings, and angular headlight give it a sporty presence on the road. The bike gets LED split-type headlamp and taillight providing excellent illumination. The bold graphics make the two-wheeler visually appealing to younger riders and enthusiasts. The digital instrument cluster is compact but easy to read. It’s informative and displays speed, fuel level, and gear position. The overall design is sleek and race-inspired, giving the Honda RS-X Winner a premium and performance-oriented look. The under-seat storage is small compared to some rivals, which is typical for underbone motorcycles.

The bike gets a sporty exhaust design that enhances the aggressive look while producing a deep exhaust note. The USB port offers convenient charging of smartphones on the go. The overall sporty stance is complemented by the split-seat.

The Honda RS-X Winner is available in yellow, blue, matte grey, and green colours. The bike runs on 17-inch wheels.

RS-X Winner Ride & Handling

The Honda RS-X Winner is mounted on telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The front suspension is well-balanced, offering decent damping. The rear suspension may feel a bit stiff, particularly on bumpy roads. But it still manages to provide excellent stability at high speeds and during cornering.

The Honda RS-X Winner’s seat is positioned at 795 mm, making it accessible for most riders. Taller riders may find the position a bit cramped. The ergonomic handlebar placement allows for a slightly leaned-forward riding posture, enhancing control while maintaining comfort. Overall the ride comfort is good for in-city commuting.

Honda RS-X Winner Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Honda RS-X Winner is hauled by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 150cc engine that produces 16PS/14Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission, making it one of the more powerful underbone motorcycles in the Malaysian market. The bike comes with Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection system that offers superb fuel efficiency without compromising performance. The engine provides smooth acceleration, and the transmission is seamless, ensuring better power delivery and top-end performance compared to its five-speed rivals. Whether commuting in the city or taking on highway stretches, the RS-X Winner delivers a responsive and engaging ride.

The bike returns an impressive fuel efficiency of around 40kmpl, depending on the riding conditions. The 4.5-liter is enough for urban commuting.  The lightweight chassis allows for nimble manoeuvrability, making it easy to weave through traffic or take on tight corners with confidence.

RS-X Winner Braking & Safety

One of the highlights of the Honda RS-X Winner is its braking system. The bike comes with disc brakes on both wheels and antilock braking as part of standard equipment. Braking is strong and reliable, offering good stopping power in various conditions Antilock braking enhances safety by preventing wheel lock-up during sudden braking, reducing the risk of skidding. This is a major advantage over many competitors that don’t have this system. Additionally, the wide 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires provide excellent road grip, improving stability and handling.

Honda RS-X Winner Verdict

The Honda RS-X Winner has a starting price of RM 9,998. It’s not exactly among the most affordably-priced two-wheelers in its class. But it’s a great choice for riders who want a sporty, powerful, and stylish underbone motorcycle. With its sharp design, strong engine, seamless transmission, and advanced safety features, the Honda RS-X Winner stands out in its segment. The slightly firm rear suspension may not appeal to all riders. But it’s the perfect companion for sporty riders who enjoy spirited riding and aggressive styling. It isn’t much for highway travelling.
