The 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine with which the YZF R15 is blessed is a sweet engineering marvel. The engine is equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), which makes it feels much more responsive and refined as one would expect it from. The pillion perch is positioned at quite a height, which makes it uncomfortable for longer rides While the LED headlamps of the Yamaha YZF R15 look cool with their slim and minimalistic design, the throw of the light in night conditions is not that good.
