KUALA LUMPUR: CFMOTO Malaysia has officially launched the highly anticipated 500SR at the Malaysian GP 2026. It is a fully faired, middleweight sports motorcycle with a four-cylinder engine, sporty styling, and modern equipment.

CFMOTO 500SR: Key highlights

The 500SR features a full fairing of razor-sharp lines, an aerodynamic low-slung profile, and a compact rear design.
It is powered by a 500-cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC inline-four engine which generates a maximum power of 78.8 PS at 12,500 rpm and a peak torque of 49 Nm at 10,000 rpm. With the Ram Air intake system activated, the output rises to 82.9 PS.
Power is transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed gearbox and a wet multi-plate slipper clutch system.
Based on a steel trellis frame, the bike has lightweight construction with torsional rigidity for precise, predictable cornering.

The suspension setup comprises 41 mm upside-down forks at the front and a multi-link shock absorber at the rear. Handling the braking duties are twin 300 mm front discs with Nissin four-piston calipers and a 220 mm rear disc with a floating caliper.
The feature kit includes - Full LED lighting, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, a 24-step adjustable steering damper, a one-way quickshifter, heated grips with five heat settings and 17-inch wheels with CST S3N tyres.
The bike gets a 6.2-inch curved TFT with MotoPlay mirrors, navigation, music, and calls from your phone.

Safety equipment includes dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode, a traction control system, a tyre pressure monitoring system and an emergency stop signal.

The CFMOTO 500SR is now available through authorised CFMOTO Malaysia dealers in Galaxy Grey and Nebula White colour options.
