BMW R 18 First Edition is a bike that traces its old roots. To help it retain its originality, the bike lends design cues from the 1930s R5. I've always loved the excitement of starting up a big-inch Harley-Davidson motor. The entire motorcycle shakes, leading to an overflow of adrenaline in my veins. The BMW R 18 does that much better than many of the big bikes. With the wide handlebar and neutral riding position, the R 18 is very easy to ride. It doesn't demand any undue effort and goes where I want it to go.
