E Bonus 110 is available in 3 different colors - Blue, Red and Black.
Despite what we might think, SYM is a very big deal. The Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer has a presence in multiple countries. While many might claim that their products suffer from quality issues, their value for money cannot be denied. The SYM E Bonus 110 is the prime example of this very aspect. You can go out and buy a new 110 cc underbone motorcycle for as low as RM 2,972. Not many companies have a product that can cater to prices this down low and still provide a product that is completely worth its price.
The SYM E Bonus 110 is surprisingly stylish. At this price range, we would have been happy with some paint. But the Bonus comes with snazzy graphics and three different color options: red, yellow, and blue. The front end is slim as the large indicators and the tall shapely headlight all reside in the same handlebar unit. Under the short apron lies the front fender that floats high above the front wheel. The rear section gets a black grab handle. The same black treatment is dealt out to the exposed engine parts and the suspension components in the front. The taillight is also a combined piece with the brake light sharing space with the indicators. The wheels are spoked as expected for the price. The instrument display on the bike is conventional and easy to read using analogue dials. The overall length of the Bonus is 1920 mm, width is 680 mm, and the height is 1100 mm. It uses 17-ich wheels with 2.25 section front tires and 2.5 section rear tires. The bike is also very lightweight at just 96 kg.
The E Bonus 110 uses a conventional telescopic front fork setup along with a swing arm mounted twin shock setup in the rear. The seat is low and the handlebars are little higher above the seat-level. This lets the rider take a relaxed riding position without putting any strain on the wrists. The seat is almost completely flat and only has a light bump on the rear, making it easy to adjust for the perfect posture. The seat is narrow but comfortable. The suspension does a good job of absorbing the bumps and also allows for good handling. The only gripe could be about the thin tires that don’t provide the best grip.
The SYM E Bonus 110 is remarkable for providing a 110cc engine at such a low price. This engine is a 4 stroke single cylinder with SOHC that displaces 108cc. The air-cooled engine produces 7.2 PS of power at 7500 rpm and 7.6 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It also comes with an electric starter as well as a kick starter which is also something unexpected at this price. It has a 4-litre fuel tank and can achieve a fuel economy of 55 kmpl and 90 kmph. This impressive fuel economy makes it a very good bet for anyone looking for a cheap and economical underbone for daily use. The engine does not feel underpowered unless pushed. It is easily capable of taking on a rider and a pillion and can climb inclines easily too. The transmission uses a 4-speed rotary gearbox. This then should have no problem on city roads and also rough rural roads. Highways, however, should not be approached with this.
The Bonus 110 uses a disc brake at the front and a drum brake on the rear. This is another welcome surprise as a front disc brake is something still not available on many higher priced bikes. A very welcome move indeed.
The SYM E Bonus 110 is exactly what you hope for albeit with a few welcome surprises thrown in. It ticks all the important checkboxes and provides a cheap transportation option for those struggling for some wheels. While the build quality and reliability are not top notch, it is simple and easy to repair or even customize if the rider so wishes. At this price range it does not get better than this.
The Sym E Bonus 110 is an affordable and practical moped for daily commuting. The main aim of mopeds is to make two-wheelers affordable for common people. There’s nothing high end to the Sym E Bonus 110. It’s as basic a two-wheeler can be. Looks-wise too it’s plain. The new model has underseat storage. The moped comes with both electric
I own the E-Bonus 110 for over year now and I am pretty happy with the overall performance of this scooter. However, there are a few points I would like to highlight about this bike. For starters, the build quality of this bike is not so good. I had to do a lot of repairs on this bike just after
Sym e-bonus 110 is a good option if you are someone like me who wants an underbone that returns excellent fuel economy for daily commutes. One element that impressed me the most is the presence of disc brakes at the front that improves the safety of this bike. The engine is pretty smooth and agile. I wish the build quality
I think every other guy wants to possess a bike. It's like a dream to ride on their own bike. It was the same for you and I waited long enough to finally get the perfect one. I finally settled on SYM E Bonus 110. It costs me RM2,972 and I decided to pay it on EMI as I wanted
