A light-weighted build that makes it easy to ride
Tipping the weighing scales at just 100 kgs, the WMoto Cub Classic 110 is one of the lightest mopeds on sale. Apart from the light kerb weight, the agility of the WMoto Cub Classic 110 is further ensured by a nicely tuned suspension setup comprising upside-down telescopic forks at the front and dual-sided hydraulic coil springs at the rear. The ride and handling are further eased off by the large 17-inch spoke wheels, which come wrapped with slim 70/90-17 tyre at the front and 80/90-17 tyre at the rear. The WMoto Cub Classic 110 gets basic drum brakes at the rear, the bite from which could have been better.

Recent Updates of Cub Classic 110
This two-seater moped from WMoto has not seen any major updates in the Malaysian market and is still available in two variants – Standard and SE. Powering this moped is a 109.2 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 6 hp of power at 7500 rpm and 8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 4-speed gearbox. In terms of riding comfort, the Cub Classic 110 gets USD forks at the front and twin shock absorbers on the rear, adjustable for preload. Functionality is offered by a small parcel rack on the front mudguard along with a hook and a small cargo basket below the handlebar.

The WMoto Cub Classic 110 is a retro-themed cub-class moped, which also happens to be the most affordable two-wheeler from WMoto, a home-grown brand from Malaysia. This classic-styled moped will make you remind mopeds from the yesteryears, while its price makes it one of the cheapest ways of commuting on two wheels. The WMoto Cub Classic 110 is on sale in Malaysia in a single variant, which can be had in one of the three colour options on offer – Red, Green and Matte Grey.

Wmoto Cub Classic 110 Design
If you are someone who admires old-school looks in a two-wheeler, the WMoto Cub Classic 110 should win over your heart. The moped looks simple and classy and is styled on the lines of mopeds from the bygone eras.
At the front, the WMoto Cub Classic 110 gets a rounded headlamp unit, which despite having a simple design looks modern with its all-LED illumination, including daytime running LED light around its circumference. This headlamp gets chrome surrounds and is encased in a curved cowl, which also comes integrated with additional daytime running LED strips on its upper corners which flow towards the handlebars.
This cowl flows down while covering the middle portion of the front forks, and also comes attached with chrome-finished mounts for the front basket, which is offered as an accessory for it, and LED turn indicators on its sides. The long curved front fender, with a chrome-finished tip at its front, rounds off the moped’s look at the front.
Move towards the side profile, and the WMoto Cub Classic 110 catches your attention with its uniquely executed design, despite it being basic in its layout. Behind the frontal part, the Cub Classic 110 gets a large and curved apron, which serves as knee protectors while riding and merges with the central spine of the frame of the moped. This central spine gets chrome-plated garnish in the middle of it and flows towards the curved rear fender in a smooth and curvy fashion.
While moving towards the rear, this central spine has mounts for both rider and pillion seats, which are separate and split units. The pillion seat is placed above a silver-finished luggage carrier, which can be used after removing the pillion seat. Just below the rider’s seat, there is a triangular chrome garnish with rounded edges. The WMoto Cub Classic 110 comes with spoke wheels as standard.
The WMoto Cub Classic 110 gets a vertically-aligned tail lamp, which along with LED turn indicators, is mounted on the large curved rear fender. The moped gets a very basic all-analogue instrument console, which has chrome surrounds and gets a speedometer and odometer.
Cub Classic 110 Braking & Safety
A bare-basic entry-level moped like the WMoto Cub Classic 110 is not equipped with modern safety features. However, the large front apron behind the frontal part of the moped works well in protecting the knees and legs of the rider in case of a frontal impact.
Wmoto Cub Classic 110 Verdict
While the WMoto Cub Classic 110 is one of the cheapest mopeds in terms of price, it impresses with its ease of riding and the charming old-school look, the latter of which is hard to find in the modern era.
