2019 Benelli RFS150iLE limited edition launched at RM 7,488

KUALA LUMPUR: Challenging the Yamaha Y15ZR and the Honda RS150R, Benelli has announced the arrival of the 2019 RFS150iLE limited edition in Malaysia. With the Italian colors all over it, the moped brings the Italian essence to the Malaysian shore. But with the production units limited to a handful of 5,000, one has to hurry in grabbing the feature studded Benelli RFS150iLE.

Its special features are not only limited to the mechanics and the looks. One who buys the limited edition Benelli RFS150iLE will also receive an ownership certificate which will include the signature of Marco Bellucci, the Chief Technical Director at Benelli.

The adjustable brake and clutch levers are standard on the new Benelli RFS150iLE, along with a Kayaba monoshock at the rear and a non-adjustable USD setup up front. Then there’s a delicate touch of white pinstripes both on the front and the rear wheel.

Powering the RFS150iLE is a single cylinder liquid-cooled 149 cc triple-spark motor producing 15.5 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The rear wheel gets the power via a 6-speed wet-clutch transmission. Not to forget, the Benelli RFS150iLE get the conventional chain-drive.

Termed as BS3P by Benelli, the three-spark plug technology used in the RFS150iLE is aimed towards achieving optimum power, better fuel efficiency while keeping the emission under control. Helping control the power and bring the RFS150iLE to stand still are petal discs at front and rear measuring 240 mm and 220 mm respectively. The seat height of the RFS150iLE is 787 mm and under which is the fuel tank that can store a maximum of 4.8-litre of juice at once. Sit on the 126 kg RFS150iLE and find a long road, you’ll be able to reach  100 kmph mark without a fuss.
