All-New 2022 Royal Enfield Scram 411 is here

KUALA LUMPUR: Royal Enfield Scram 411 has arrived in India and in the coming months, it will make a debut in Europe and Asia-Pacific region.

Sitting in the ADV Crossover segment, the Scram 411 is an all-rounder motorcycle enabled to tackle off-road, rough patches over long distances with ease.

Powering the new Scram 411 is the brand LS-410 mill that was first seen in the Himalayan. Mounted in a Harris Performance frame, this 411 cc SOHC, air-cooled, fed by EFI unit makes a maximum power of 24.3 hp at 6,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 32 Nm from 4,000 to 4,500 rpm.

As mentioned above, the Scram 411 is targeted at urban riders with the occasional need to tackle rough roads. Therefore, the power here is biased towards the button end of the torque curve.

To enjoy off-roads fully a bike needs a good suspension and braking setup. The former includes the obligatory tall suspension, 190 mm travel telescopic front fork, and 180 mm travel at the back. Helping the bike stop is single hydraulic discs at both ends.

The new Scram 411 is one stylish motorcycle with several elements improving its riding ergonomics. For instance, it gets seats that are specially designed for long rides with riders in the commanding position, both seated and standing up.

The Scram 411 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres and two-channel ABS.

Keeping the urban riders in mind, the Scram 411 gets a combination digital panel with an analogue speedometer cluster that displays all necessary information like service reminder, trip meter, fuel gauge with a low warning, and time. As an option is available Royal Enfield Tripper Navigation pod.

The Scram 411 is offered in three variants available in seven hues. The base trim comes in Graphite Blue, Graphite Yellow, and Graphite Blue with distinct tank badges, grey tanks, and matching tyre tapes.

The Skyline Blue and Blazing Black model gets distinct colour tanks with RE stripes and matching mudguards.

The range-topping Scram 411 is available in two tones - Silver Spirit and White Flame with unique graphics and two-tone tanks.
