Malaysia gets the all-new adventure motorcycle, the VOGE DS900X

KUALA LUMPUR: MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has introduced an all-new exciting contender in the adventure motorcycle market, called the VOGE DS900X. Priced at RM 49,998 (excluding road tax and insurance), this adventure-ready machine seems a perfect companion for both long-distance touring and off-road thrills.

Engine and Performance

The bike is powered by an 895-cc dual-cylinder, four-stroke 8-valve engine tuned to deliver a maximum power of 93.8 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 95 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a quickshifter-equipped gearbox and chain final drive system. 

The mechanical setup strikes a perfect balance between power and efficiency thanks to the compression ratio of 13.1:1, liquid cooling, and an advanced electronic fuel injection system. The quick shifter enables clutchless gear shifting for smoother and faster acceleration, enhancing rider control and responsiveness.

Ride and handling

The VOGE DS900X rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped with 90/90 and 150/70 tyres at the respective ends. It features a uniquely designed aluminium swingarm mated to an upside-down telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock absorber.

The braking setup comprises dual Brembo disc brakes with ABS, measuring 305 mm in diameter, and a single 265 mm disc at the rear.

Designed for off-road adventures and long-distance commuting, the bike can adapt to different terrains and rider preferences. Its key dimensions are as follows -
