Triumph Factory Customs launches 2020 Rocket 3 TFC

KUALA LUMPUR: Triumph Factory Customs (TFC) has finally launched the 2020 Rocket 3 TFC. This motorbike is a limited edition model, and TFC will only produce 750 units that will be available worldwide.

The 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 TFC is powered by an inline three-cylinder engine which produces the largest torque as well as showcases the largest engine capacity in the world. The 2,500 cc mill churns out a maximum power of 170 PS along with a peak torque of 221 Nm. The new engine helps enhance the power figure by 13 percent compared to the earlier iteration.

As per the manufacturer, the new Rocket 3 TFC is around 40 kilograms lighter than the discontinued Rocket 3. The earlier version weighed about 362 kilograms. Use of carbon-fibre is the main reason behind the weight loss. The bike features a unique Arrow exhaust, which has heat shields and carbon-fibre end caps.

The braking front is also upgraded, and it now features radial-mounted Brembo Style brake callipers with span and Brembo MCS brake lever, which is ratio adjustable. The bike rides on the lightweight aluminium alloy 20-spoke wheels and which again is one of the key reasons for less weight. The rear wheel is wrapped in a 240-section rear tyre.

Speaking of the cockpit section, the 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 TFC gets a full-color angle-adjustable TFT-LCD screen. It is equipped with the Bluetooth connectivity system that helps in playlist management. The rider can also take help from the turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps and can use GoPro camera control placed on the handlebar pod. Moreover, the bike comes with a number of riding aids such as traction control, cornering ABS, and four different riding modes.

The 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 TFC is priced at 25,000 pounds sterling, which is equivalent to RM 135,132. TFC has started accepting orders, which are currently being taken at Triumph authorised dealers.
