Stylish night rider with cafe attitude
I chose the Nightshift because of its moody cafe-racer look. At night, Jalan Bukit Bintang's bright glow looks excellent. The narrower clip-ons make it easier to get between stopped cars, but they make longer runs to Putrajaya heavier on the arms. The engine's personality is similar to that of the Icon: it's friendly and torquey, and the stock pipes make just the right amount of noise to let mamak stalls know you're there. During rapid rains, stock Pirelli tires grip wet drain covers very well. On dark kampung roads, the LED light has an extensive range. Bad things? The mirrors start to shake after 120 minutes, and the seat gets stiff after 90 minutes. Still, style matters all the time and everywhere.
