I did not have an idea that I would enjoy carving through mountain passes so much until I rode the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES. The shorter wheelbase makes twisty uphill sections seem to be a playground. Recently, I embarked on a long trip wherein I had to navigate hairpins that were surrounded by hanging cliffs, and this motorcycle responded like a mountain goat. The 8-inch fork travel absorbs everything from potholes to rock gardens with ease. With the dry-sump design of this bike, I felt like I was cheating physics.
