2020 Triumph Street Triple 765RS launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765RS, a middleweight naked sports bike has made its debut at the 2019 Shell Malaysia MotoGP, which was held in November 3rd at the Sepang International Circuit. The sports bike has received some designing changes, while the engine remains the same. The delivery will start in the first quarter of 2020.

2020 Triumph Street Triple 765RS gets slimmer headlights having brow shaped LED daytime running lights. Coming to the rear, the seat cowl houses vents on each side of the rider’s posterior.

Getting inside the cockpit, there is a full-colour TFT-LCD screen having four colours and four display modes. It is provided with tilt adjustment, which helps to offer the optimum viewing angle. The bike comes with five riding modes as Rain, Road, Sport, Rider configurable and Track. There is a Triumph Bluetooth module, which comes as an option that helps to connect with a smartphone for more functions and navigation.

2020 Triumph Street Triple 765RS is equipped with the same 765 cc inline-triple engine, which can make a maximum power of 121 hp coming at 11,750 rpm and a peak torque of 79 Nm at 9,350 rpm. It means the same engine is tuned to churn out 9% of more torque than the outgoing one. Besides, the mill is now Euro 5 compliant. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox. The bike gets a 17.4-litre fuel tank like before.

As on the braking department, there are twin 310 mm floating brake discs, clamped by Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers at the front, while a 220 mm disc with a single-piston calliper is present at the back.

2020 Triumph Street Triple 765RS price remains unchanged in Malaysia with RM 67,900, while road tax, insurance or registration are not included.
