KTNS TT Classic 150 bike launched in Malaysia at RM 6,888

KUALA LUMPUR: MForce Bike Holdings recently brought back the KTNS brand to Malaysia, with the launch of a new 150-cc motorcycle, the KTNS TT Classic 150. It is a scrambler-style bike with a retro-modern design and practical features, focusing on everyday usability.

Price

The KTNS TT Classic 150 is priced at RM 6,888 (excluding road tax, insurance or registration). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

Engine and transmission

At the core of the new TT Classic 150 lies a 150 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that generates a maximum power of 10.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 11.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a five-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

Design and features 

Built on a retro-modern design philosophy, the bike features an old-school charm with contemporary styling cues. It boasts a timeless visual appeal with a round headlight, a tear-drop fuel tank and a scrambler-style muffler. Key features include - 

• A colour LCD speedometer display
• LED lighting system including headlight, daytime running light, signal lights, hazard lights, and tail light 
• Anti-slip seat stay design
• Font storage pocket 
• Mechanical key ignition system
• 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel wrapped with 110/90 and 120/70 tyres
• 11-litre fuel tank

Suspension and braking 

The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking setup comprises a single front disc with two-piston callipers and a single rear disc with a single-piston calliper.
