WMotor NX150S scooter launched in Malaysia at RM 6,688

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has added one more exciting model to WMoto’s local lineup, offering Malaysians more choices to ride in style. The latest model is an urban scooter, named NX150S, which offers a blend of style, practicality and comfort in one affordable package.

Designed for the modern urban lifestyle, the WMotor NX150S scooter is competitively priced at RM 6,688 (excluding road tax, insurance or registration), making it one of the most budget-friendly modern scooters available in the 150cc scooter segment. Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

WMotor NX150S: Engine and transmission

Powering the new WMoto scooter is a 149.6 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 15.8 hp at 8.500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and a belt drive system.

The scooter boasts a sporty and modern design with sharp elements and all-around LED lighting. It has a compact yet practical layout with a length of 1,954 mm, a width of 780 mm, and a height of 758 mm. The seat height is measured at 790 mm. Key features include -

Handling the suspension duties are telescopic forks at the front and twin preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup comprises single hydraulic disc brakes at both ends, complemented by ABS.
