2026 WMOTO NEXY+180 scooter launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has introduced the upgraded version of the WMOTO NEXY+180 in Malaysia, featuring several improvements, offering riders a more comfortable, practical, and safe driving experience.

2026 WMOTO NEXY+180: Price

The new WMOTO NEXY+180 is priced at RM 9,288 (excluding road tax and insurance) in Malaysia, making it RM 300 dearer than the previous model. Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects, with spare parts available through MForce Bike Holdings’ online portal.

2026 WMOTO NEXY+180: Key highlights

The upgraded WMOTO scooter benefits from a range of improvements, including 

• Low-beam auxiliary lights - These improve visibility at night and in poor weather conditions by making the vehicle more noticeable to other road users. 

• Seat-mounted holders: These add to the convenience by providing secure attachment points for luggage and other items. 
• Turn signals: These clearly indicate the rider’s intended direction and reduce the risk of collisions during turns and lane changes.
• Tyre pressure monitoring system: It monitors tyre pressure and alerts the rider in case of low pressure, thus enhancing safety, fuel efficiency and tyre life. 

The Nexy+180 retains the same futuristic mecha style with sharp body lines and geometric angles. At the heart lies the same 174-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that generates a maximum power of 18.2 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 17.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Sending power to the rear wheel is a CVT gearbox with belt final drive. 

Along with the above-mentioned upgrades, this tech-forward scooter continues to offer the same feature set as the previous iteration, including 

• LED projector headlight, LED tail light, LED indicators, and LED daytime running light
• 6-inch TFT-LCD display supporting Bluetooth connectivity and Carbit Ride and RoadCam app support
• Keyless ignition
• Type-A and Type-C USB charging ports
• Traction control
• Front dash cam

• Magnetic front storage compartment
• 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheel wrapped with 110/70 and 130/70 tyres, respectively
• Telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers
• 260 mm front disc brake with a 4-piston calliper and 220 mm rear disc with a single-piston floating calliper
• Two-channel ABS 

The new WMOTO NEXY+180 is now available at all authorised WMOTO dealerships nationwide. It is offered in four stunning colour options - Midnight Black, Nardo Grey, Magic Blue and Xtreme White.
