Limited-edition Vespa 946 Horse scooter arrives in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The Italian luxury scooter brand Vespa introduced the limited-edition 946 Horse scooter at the Lunar New Year celebration in January this year. Dedicated to the Chinese New Year 2026, the Year of the Horse, this ultra-exclusive Vespa model has now landed on Malaysian soil.

Didi Group, the official distributor of Vespa in Malaysia, has brought only three units of the scooter to the local market (out of 888 units made for 2026), and all of them have sold out instantly.  

Vespa 946 Horse: Key highlights 

• Priced at RM 108,999, this masterpiece is painted in an exclusive deep bay brown colour, inspired by a horse's majestic coat, with contrasting gloss and matte effects.
• Making it a true collector’s item are exquisite details such as premium leather craftsmanship, a gold ‘V’ emblem, and exclusive horse-themed design elements.

• The Vespa 946 Horse comes with a distinctive single ‘floating-seat’ design and exclusive accessories such as a special-edition helmet and an Italian leather rear luggage bag. 
• At its core lies a 155-cc, single-cylinder, three-valve air-cooled engine that kicks out a maximum power of 12.7 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 12.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
• Built on a steel monocoque structure, this exclusive two-wheeler features a full LED lighting setup, a digital instrument cluster, 12-inch wheels with disc brakes, and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system.
