All-around missile with touring manners
I'm sure the Multistrada V4 is the Swiss-army knife of Malaysian riding now that I've had it for a year. The 170-horsepower V4 motor speeds up Karak's hills, but radar cruise takes care of the PLUS's dull sections. Skyhook suspension seems to be able to talk to the road directly, smoothing out patchy pavement outside of Bentong and quickly firming up for quick direction changes. Heat control is surprisingly pleasant in the start-stop traffic near Mid Valley; older Ducatis baked me. The big TFT screen and lighted buttons make it easy to navigate at night. Bad things? Service costs are high, and the fuel level drops quickly once you start having fun. Still, I can't think of anything else that covers this much ground this quickly or easily.
