Ducati introduces the all-new 2023 Multistrada V4 Rally; check details

KUALA LUMPUR: The time seems right for off-road adventure-loving riders, as many new powerful offerings are on the horizon including the Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer and the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure. Now joining the list of names is the 2023 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, the only difference being this one has been introduced unlike the other two.

As one can guess, the 2023 Multistrada V4 Rally is built for dirt, and capable of taking on the most challenging terrains. Here is the list of improvements that make the new Ducati the capable motorcycle that it claims to be -

• A new power mode that allows for a better riding experience on off-road terrains
• A longer suspension travel that sits at 200 mm (+30 mm)
• Rear-wheel ABS and wheelie control are deactivated to adapt to rough riding

• Inclusion of the new Enduro Riding mode calls for reduced power output and traction control switches moving to a lower intervention level
• The semi-active Showa Skyhook suspension comes with a self-levelling ability
• It rides on spoked wheels as standard (a feature optional on the V4 S)

• A massive 3.0-litre fuel tank that pushes the bike’s range to almost 30 km
• It now gets an adaptive ride height function wherein the bike’s height will be lowered when the ignition is turned on, thus making it easier for the rider to get on and off the bike

Powering the new Ducati is the Granturismo V4 powerplant with rear cylinder deactivation that operates both while riding and at a standstill. Thus helping boost the fuel economy.
