GSX-S750 Overview

The Suzuki GSX-S750 is one of the most popular and practical offerings in the middleweight motorcycle category, which is a perfect stepping stone for those who want to upgrade from a quarter-litre motorcycle. The GSX-S750 is the most powerful middleweight offering from Suzuki worldwide, and at the same time, is one of the most affordable inline-four motorcycles you can buy. The Suzuki GSX-S750 is offered in Malaysia in two colour options of Metallic Triton Blue with Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Oort Grey with Glass Sparkle Black.

Suzuki GSX-S750 Design

The Suzuki GSX-S750 has got the right muscle and size for a premium middleweight motorcycle. However, the motorcycle has remained unchanged for many years now, which shows its age. For the current day and age, when there are much more modern-looking motorcycles out there, the Suzuki GSX-S750 looks a bit dated.

However, the Suzuki GSX-S750 still looks decent with its edgy and muscular appeal. At the front, the motorcycle gets a sharp face, with a striking-looking headlamp within a busy-looking cowl. The headlamp here is a halogen unit, with the clear lens turn indicators flanking it also begin halogen unit. The golden-coloured forks at the front do add a premium touch to the motorcycle.

Move towards the side, and the Suzuki GSX-S750 shows the best of its muscularity. The fuel tank is large and is the biggest contributor to its butch appeal. There are large Z-shaped fuel tank extensions, which flow downwards, thus making the motorcycle look athletic. The multi-spoke alloy wheels and engine are finished in a theme of black, with the latter getting a small but very purposeful cowl below it.

Towards the rear, the Suzuki GSX-S750 continues to possess a sporty aura, with a nicely finished upswept exhaust pipe with a silver shield and a steeply rising tail section. In a true naked sports fashion, the Suzuki GSX-S750 gets split seats, with the pillion seat-mounted high on the rising tailpiece. The tailpiece ends up with a small LED tail lamp nestled at its back, with the Suzuki GSX-S750 getting a proper and functional rear fender.

The Suzuki GSX-S750 comes with a simple-looking but very informative fully-digital instrument console, which packs in speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meters, gear indicator, selected ride mode, and multi-information display, which shows average fuel consumption, instantaneous fuel consumption, and distance-to-empty. While there are not many features and fancy LED illumination at the front, the Suzuki GSX-S750 has a very impressive fit and finish levels.

GSX-S750 Ride & Handling

The Suzuki GSX-S750 gets a simple mechanical construction, with the suspension setup having a combination of upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a link-type mono-shock at the back. The bike gets 310mm dual discs at the front and a single 240mm disc at the rear. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, the Suzuki GSX-S750 gets a 120/70 ZR17 tyre at the front and a 180/55 ZE17 tyre at the back.

Suzuki GSX-S750 Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Suzuki GSX-S750 is powered by a smooth and refined four-stroke, liquid-cooled, inline-four, 749cc engine, which is easily the most noteworthy highlight of the overall package. Coupled with a 6-speed gearbox, this engine pumps out a maximum power output of 114 PS and a maximum torque output of 81 Nm. The engine feels refined and powerful throughout its rev range, which makes it extremely usable irrespective of the gear you are riding in.

GSX-S750 Braking & Safety

For a modern-day motorcycle, the Suzuki GSX-S750 lags behind its direct rivals when it comes to the level of equipment and electronic riding aids. The Suzuki GSX-S750 gets only a dual-channel ABS and a three-level traction control system in its overall package.

Suzuki GSX-S750 Verdict

The Suzuki GSX-S750 might not be as feature-rich as any other premium middleweight motorcycle. However, what it impresses with is the level of refinement and excellence in its mechanical setup. Like a true Japanese motorcycle, it is high on refinement and is easy to ride and maintain as compared to any other middleweight motorcycle, which makes it an easy stepping stone for those who wish to upgrade from a smaller 250-300cc motorcycle.

Let’s be honest. True-blue sports bike aren’t meant for the masses. It’s for professional racers. For the common man who wants a casual racing bike for occasional speed thrills, middleweight sports bikes are the best. The Suzuki GSX S750 falls in that class. The bike is extremely sporty and meets your expectations. The 750cc engine is very powerful and agile. Read More

I have been a fan of high-class motorcycles since childhood. My girlfriend knows this very well. This is why she gifted me the Suzuki GSX-S750 on my last birthday. It is one of the best motorcycles I have ever ridden on. The bike comes with a 749cc engine, which can provide a maximum power of 112.6 hp. With this whopping Read More

The Suzuki GSX-S750 is a reasonable bike in its class. It shares the look with the bigger GSX-S1000. The fuel tank is beefy, and the general styling is somewhat aggressive. The posterior styling is strong, with the extended seat. Overall it has a feisty look in the middleweight segment. Nevertheless, the 749cc engine delivers a compelling performance. I got my Suzuki GSX-S 750 as a birthday gift from my parents last year. Over a year, I’ve covered over ten thousand kilometers through different types of terrains, including good and bad roads. However, not once has this ride given me any sense of dissatisfaction in any way. The 749cc engine equipped with four cylinders delivers a maximum torque Read More

Compared to other bikes in its class, the Suzuki GSX-S750 is a good value. In terms of design, it takes cues from the larger GSX-S1000. The GSX-fuel S750's tank is muscular, and the overall styling is aggressive. With the raised seat, the rear styling is slick and modern. Middleweights tend to have a more intimidating appearance. Seventy-nine-cubic-inch engines deliver thrilling Read More

    Trevin Jan 08, 2021 for Suzuki GSX-S750

The Suzuki GSX-S750 is an affordable bike in its class. It borrows the look from the bigger GSX-S1000. The fuel tank is muscular and the overall styling of the GSX-S750 is rather angry. The rear styling is sharp, with the raised seat. Overall it has a meaner look in the middleweight segment. The 749cc engine gives an exhilarating performance. The Read More

There isn’t much wrong with the Suzuki GSX S 750, it looks triking, packs in a lot of features & power, and flaunts a very comfortable pair of seats for the rider and the pillion. but there are a few things where the automaker has comprised and should improve when introducing an update.
